Elmer L. "Buck" Mills, 83, of Moorefield, WV passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on July 14, 1941 in Broadway, VA, he was the son of the late Joseph Edward Mills and Charlotte (Armentrout) Mills.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Crider Mills in 2016, and his siblings, Lee Jackson, Sr., Reuben Mills, Patsy Strawderman and Violet Lotts.

He is survived by sons, Wesley A. Mills (Kimberly) of Martinsburg, WV, Mark Mills of Stephens City, VA, 5 grandchildren: William Mills, Shayna Helmick, Stephanie Sites, Stephen Mills, Anthony Mills, and 6 great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Jacob, Roselyn, Adriana, Aaron and Kason; and his siblings, John Mills of Broadway, VA, Frances Mills of Timberville, VA and Mary Miller of Fulks Run, VA.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Baker, WV with Pastors Russell and Lucy Webster officiating.  Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Baker, WV.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, 5-7pm, at the funeral home.
