Elbert "Ab" G. Shell, 95, of Baker, WV passed away due to complications of COVID-19 on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at E.A. Hawse Health Care, Baker, WV.

Born on March 24, 1925 in Lost City, WV, he was the son of the late Bruce G. Shell and Annie See Shell.

He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII.  He was a member of the Wardensville V.F.W. and I.U.O.F. Local No. 132.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Delbert Shell, Edward Shell, half-brother, Oakley See, and sisters, Merlee Caldwell, Neva Shaver, Erma Strawderman, and Lorna White.

He is survived by a brother, Ronald Shell of Weyers Cave, VA and a sister, Edith McDonaldson of Westland, MI.

A burial service will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mathias, WV.
