Dolly Maxine Adams, 87, of Springfield, WV passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at her residence.

Born on February 25, 1939 in Levels, WV, she was the daughter of the late Paul Showalter and Hilda Largent Showalter.

Dolly was a member of Levels United Methodist Church, Levels, WV. She had worked for Valley Health and also owned and managed Adams Sawmill with her husband. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Kenneth Adams in 2017 and by her sisters, Pauline Miller and Nancy Loy, an infant brother, an infant great-grandson, Kaesyn, and her son-in-laws, Ricky Franks, Kevin DeScoteau and Todd Spaid.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Franks of Springfield, WV, Brenda DeScoteau of Hagerstown, MD, Kari Spaid of Yellow Springs, WV, Kenny Paul Adams (Joyce), David Adams (Tammy), Michael Adams (Lisa), all of Springfield, WV, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one soon to be great-grandchild, and a sister, Betty Nealis of Romney, WV.
