Denese Victoria Davidson Hogbin, 67, of Romney, WV passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026 at her home.

Born on January 15, 1959 in Romney, WV she was the daughter of the late Walter “Buck” Davidson and Pearl Arbutus (Shanholtz) Davidson.

Denise was a graduate of Hampshire High School. With her husband, she was the former co-owner of Hogbin Oil Co. She enjoyed her flower gardens, pets, feeding the birds and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Irma Weasenforth.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert “Bob” Hogbin, her daughter, Tabitha Brown, and grandchildren, Brylee, Bentley, Hassel and Hailey.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, WV with Pastor Dave Simmons officiating.

All arrangements are handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
