David Lynn Saville, 65, of Augusta, WV passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at his residence.

Born on January 11, 1957 in Winchester, VA, he was the son of the late Floyd G. Saville and Thelma (Veach) Saville.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Chasity Lynn Saville and a brother, Freddie King.

David enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on muscle cars.  He was a well-known Subaru mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Slonaker Saville, whom he married on September 12, 1985, a sister, Tammie Braithwaite (Dale) of Keyser, WV, a brother, Douglas King of Winchester, VA, a niece, Heather Snyder (Tom) of Keyser, WV, a nephew, Lucas Dale Braithwaite (Sarah) and close friends, Larry and Ray Saville.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta WV with Pastor Denzil Davis officiating.  Interment will be in Augusta Cemetery, Augusta, WV.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hamphire Co. Animal Shelter, 155 Kerr Dr, Augusta, WV 26704 or a pet charity of your choice or by planting a tree in his memory.
