Danny Calvin Ruckman,78, of Augusta, WV passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on February 17, 1948 in Winchester, VA, he was the son of the late Cecil C. Ruckman and Pearl Ione (Combs) Ruckman.

He was a graduate of Hampshire High School, Class of 1966. He had retired after 23 years with Cumberland Electric. Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, and team roping. He loved to spend time with his family and his children have many special memories of him helping with fair animals and attending the WV state fair.

He is survived by his wife, Donna R. (Combs) Ruckman, his son, Dana C. Ruckman (Kelly), daughter, “Dad’s little girl”, Denise Blevins (Shane), his grandchildren, Tyler S. Blevins, Jason Ruckman, Ashton Ruckman, Alyson Ruckman, and Haden Cook; sister-in-law, Debbie Combs, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by family friends, Bob and Estelle Odle and Ricky Goldizon.

A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV with Pastor Robert Jeffreys officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
