Cory Scott Hanson, 25, of Baker, WV passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023.

Born on March 29, 1998 in Winchester, VA, he was the son of the late Robert Hanson and Ladeania Hall of Baker, WV.

He was a graduate of East Hardy High School. Cory enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and playing online video games.  He would help anyone out anytime they called, day or night.

Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife, Hailee Zirkle Hanson, a son, Cooper Zirkle, step-father, Brian Hall, a brother, Logan Hall, of Baker, WV, uncles, Gary Hanson and Justin Gartin, aunt, Robin Mills, maternal grandparents, Delbert Lupton and Donna Lupton of Rio, WV and paternal grandmother, Linda Hanson, of Baker, WV.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Chuck Hanson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 8:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home, Baker, WV With Pastor David May officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6 pm until time of service.
