Clarence "John" McFadden, Sr., 76, of Needmore, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on December 29, 1946 in Everett, PA, he was the son of the late Charles McFadden and Mary R. (Deshong) McFadden.

John retired as a welder from Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild and a great-grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Mary S. (Strawderman) McFadden, whom he married in 1964, his children: Clarence J. McFadden, Jr. of Middletown, VA, Jason L. McFadden of Needmore, PA, Benjamin McFadden of Needmore, PA, Mary JoAnn McFadden of Baker, WV, Russell McFadden, Sr. of Hancock, MD, Marvin J. McFadden, of Hustontown, PA, 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, Timothy McFadden, James McFadden, Charles McFadden, Jr. and 2 sisters, Connie Strait and Patsy Strait.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta WV with Pastor Russell Webster officiating.  Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Baker, WV.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, 5-8pm, at the funeral home.
