Charles "Chuck" Walter Hanson, 83, of Baker, WV passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021.

Born on February 8, 1938 in Coal Fork, WV, he was the son of the late Ira Davis Hanson and Mary Margaret Hanson.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Hanson, and an infant sister, Mary Hanson.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Hanson, whom he married on Oct 18, 1974, children:  Charlie Hanson (Kathy), Darlene Blackwell (Billy) and Gary Hanson, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, siblings:  Joe Hanson, Gordon Hanson, Wayne Hanson and his dog, Penny.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor David May officiating.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
