Charles L. See, 72, of Romney, WV passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on September 2, 1951 in Purgitsville, WV, he was the son of the late Harold E. See and Betty Dale (Bowman) See.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 – 1997, retiring as a Staff Sergeant.  During his service, he was stationed at Fort Knox, KY, Fort Benning, GA, and Bremerhaven, Germany and served in the Vietnam War.

Charlie served as Commander of the American Legion Post 91in Romney from 1991 – 1993 and was Trustee at the Romney Moose Lodge from 2021 -2023 and was currently serving as Vice-President.

Charlie is survived by his children, Kerry See of Florida, Megan Robinson (Roger) of Georgia, Charles See, II of Colorado, his siblings, Steven See of Shanks, WV, Kathy See of Fort Ashby, WV, Deborah Paskel of Gore, VA, Robyn Wolford of Romney, WV, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

Charlie enjoyed NASCAR and took pride in his role at Romney Moose.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, WV with military rites accorded by the U.S. Army.
