Charles Wayne Matthews, 54, of Shanks, WV passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Huttonsville, WV.

Born on March 13, 1970 in Fort Meade, MD, he was the son of Charles B. Matthews and Maria (Neitzche) Matthews.

He was an avid reader and loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his sons, Christopher B. Matthews and Andrew Matthews, of Shanks, WV, sisters, Mary Ramey of Romney, WV, Sheryle Kennell of Hedgesville, WV, Amanda Matthews of Romney, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.

All services will be private and handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
