Catherine Gertrude McKenery, 93, of Slanesville, WV passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Dawn View Center, Fort Ashby, WV.

Born on January 22, 1930 in Slanesville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert Rannells and Martha Kaylor Rannells.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. McKenery and her children, Olive Steward, Edward McKenery, Joseph McKenery, and Bernard "Bo" A. McKenery.

She is survived by her children, Richard Lee McKenery of Romney, WV, Julie Keckley of Romney, WV, Margaret Chaney of Cleburne, Texas, Douglas McKenery of Romney, WV, and Bernice "Cricket" Toomey of Manchester, PA, 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, WV with Brian Bohrer officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior.  Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Slanesville, WV.
