Bruce Eglinger, 75, of Augusta, WV passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on September 26, 1950 in Sufforn, NY, he was the son of the late Bob and Carolyn Eglinger of Augusta. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Holly Eglinger Shingleton.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sherry Eglinger, son, Brian Eglinger (Kelli), daughter, Heather Eglinger Saville (Sam), 5 grandchildren: Austin, Eva and Ella Eglinger, Levi and Luke Saville, and a great-grandson, Tucker Eglinger.

Bruce lived and worked in Hampshire County all his life.  He spent much of his time dedicated to agriculture.  He attended WVU for 4 years majoring in Horticulture. He owned and operated Fruitland Orchards in his early years and later managed Twin Mountain Orchard. He also worked for Green Chemical Inc. in Winchester, VA for 20 years.

He spent his retirement time doing the things he loved most: working and helping on the family farm, watching and entertaining his beloved grandchildren and vacation traveling with his wife Sherry.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Hope Christian Church, Augusta, WV.
