Obituary

Billy Harley Tusing, Jr. "BJ", 42, returned to his Savior on Tuesday, January 26th, 2021.

BJ was born in Woodstock, Virginia, to Sarah and Billy Tusing Sr and grew up in Mount Jackson, Virginia.

BJ served in the Iraq War and was proud to be a soldier. He loved his family and friends and would do anything for anyone. He was a kind heart with a beautiful, caring soul. He loved to hunt, fish, farm and was an avid mushroom hunter, and would go out with his children hunting in the wild woods of West Virginia as often as possible.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Arthur Tusing, and his beautiful twins.

BJ is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Tusing, and their children Lillie, Garris, Adalie, Zada, and Lochlan of Baker West Virginia, as well as Katie and Haven of Virginia. BJ loved his children more than life itself and was so proud of each and every one of them.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his parents, Billy and Sarah, brother JD Tusing, sister Crystal and her husband Santos, family friend Roger Runion, Grandmother Nellie Tusing, and friend Tom. He also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Our soldier has finally returned home. May he rest in peace and may his legacy live on through his children.

In lieu of Flowers the family has requested that donations go to the BJ Tusing Scholarship Fund to be awarded to children of Iraq War Veterans who suffer from PTSD.
