Betty Jean Powers, 74, of Paw Paw, WV passed away on Thursday May 6, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on February 21, 1947 in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Edith Twigg Snyder.

Betty was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She attended the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Paw Paw, WV.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Surviving is her husband, Lewis K. Powers, two daughters, Mitsi Fishel of Paw Paw, WV, Stacey Abe of Weeki Wachee, FL, a sister, Martha Parker of Oldtown, MD, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 P.M. at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, Paw Paw, WV with Pastor Earl Travis officiating. Interment will follow in Camp Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw, WV.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the church.
