Benjamin Franklin Smitson, 76, of Paw Paw, WV passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on June 8, 1948 in Prince Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Samuel Smitson and Sadie E. Sealock.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah L. (Peele) Smitson, his sons, Benjamin F. Smitson, Jr. of Harpers Ferry, WV and Jonathan T. Smitson of Paw Paw, WV, and 2 grandchildren, Ethan Tyler Smitson and Katrina Lynn Smitson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior.

All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
