Belinda Kay Shingleton, 72, of Paw Paw, WV, born on September 27, 1952, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at the Hampshire Center, Romney, WV.

Belinda was the daughter of the late James Lee Vance and Chloe Irene Vance. She graduated from Hampshire High School in 1970. On October 20, 1972, she married Douglas Shingleton after meeting him at Capon State Park, where he worked as a trail guide.

In her earlier years, Belinda worked at the Apple Blossom Mall. She had a deep love for miniature horses and could often be found at horse shows or enjoying a parade. Her passion for these events brought her great joy throughout her life.

Belinda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Doug Shingleton; her son and daughter-in-law, Clint and Jamie Shingleton; grandson Cameron Shingleton; her sister, Sheila Mae Combs, and her husband Larry Combs; and her nephew Brent Combs and his wife Kari Combs.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Panhandle in lieu of flowers.
