Arlene Ruth Smith, 93, of Hollywood, MD, formerly of Augusta, WV passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025 at St. Mary's Nursing Center, Leonardstown, MD.

Born on May 15, 1932 in Pine Level, NC, she was the daughter of the late Sydney Tyner and Myrtle (Wilkins) Tyner.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack T. Smith, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

She is survived by her children, Lynne A. Powell (Roger) of Hollywood, MD, Scott C. Smith (Sharon) of California, MD, and Todd A. Smith of Capon Bridge, WV, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a brother, Jim Tyner of Colorado.

Arlene loved nature, being outside doing yardwork or going for walks.  She collected and sold antiques. `

Services will be private and handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
