Anthony Paul “Tony” Donovan, 65, of Augusta, WV passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at his residence.

Born May 8, 1961 in Sacramento, California, he was the son of the late Thomas P. Donovan and Virginia M. (McFarland) Donovan.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Taylor) Donovan, brothers, Christopher, Stephen, David, Terrance and a twin sister, Patrice (Donovan) Yun. Also 5 nieces and a nephew.

Tony was a graduate of Jesuit High School, (1979) Sacramento, CA and the University of California Fullerton (1986) with a BS in Environmental Sciences. He worked for Tehama County, CA Office of Environmental Health as a Health Officer and for Kroeger Stores in Texas as a wine consultant. He retired to Augusta, WV in 2020.

A man of many talents, Tony was a craftsman who was extremely precise in any task he undertook. Everything had to be done correctly the first time and as simply as possible. He was never afraid of hard work and did many home remodeling/ renovation projects in both Texas and West Virginia. He enjoyed home brewing.

At his request, no funeral services will be held. Internment will be in California.
