Anna Katherine McBride, 76, of Romney, WV passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family while under the care of Hospice.

Born on March 31, 1941 in Springfield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Albert Carl McBride and Virgie Dell (Lewis) McBride.

Anna worked in the orchard and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Branch Mt. Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Helen Saville, Mary Saville, and Alice Howle and two brothers, Carl McBride Jr. and Roger McBride.

Surviving are two sisters, Linda Davis and Shirley Davis, both of Augusta, a brother, Joseph McBride of Romney and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta with Pastor Denzil Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Branch Mt. Baptist Cemetery, Three Churches, WV.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.

So sorry for the loss of your loved one. We can gain hope from the Bible, and one comforting scripture is found at John 5:28, 29. It tells us about the resurrection hope of our loved ones. Jesus while on earth demonstrated this by resurrecting his dear friend Lazarus. We can look forward to the time when we will see our loved ones again.
