Waldo Rollings Heishman, 90, of the Arkansas Community of Baker, WV passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at his home surrounded by family while under the care of Grant Co. Hospice.

Born on August 16, 1921 in Fravels Run, WV, he was the son of the late Arthur L. and Josephine T. (Wilson) Heishman.

He was a timberman and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.

Surviving is his wife Freda Vivian Smith Heishman, four daughters, Joyce Ann Fink of Broadway, VA, Betty C. Whetzel, Sue Coontz, Vivian C. Wilkins all of Baker, WV, a son Jerry Dolan Heishman of Baker, WV, a sister Nellie Headley of Stephens City, VA, a brother, Oliver Heishman of Baker, WV, 19 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers: Lloyd, Dayton, and  Ray Heishman and  three sisters: Ethel Miler, Lee Smith and Mary Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 16, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in Zion Lutheran Church, Baker, WV with Pastor Gary Koontz and Pastor Dan Sterns officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery, Baker, WV.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening 6:00-9:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home, Baker, WV.
