R. Scott Shoemaker 51 of Romney, WV passed away on Monday May 4, 2009 at his home.

Born on January 30, 1958 in Cumberland, MD, he is the son of Harry Shoemaker of Junction, WV and Betty (Showalter) Nealis of Romney, WV.

 He worked as an asbestos remover.

Along with his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Kristin Dawn Baker of Cumberland, MD, 2 sisters, Sonya Racey of Falling Waters, WV, Pam Frazier of Warrenton, VA, a brother, Bill Shoemaker of Long Beach, CA and a grandson, Kaiden Alexander Baker.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday May 9, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. in the McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Romney, WV with Pastor Harold George officiating. Interment will be in Old Pine Cemetery, Purgittsville, WV.

The family will receive friends on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 at the funeral home.
