Mary Ann Nelson

Mary Ann Nelson, 88 of Springfield, WV passed away on March 27, 2008 at the John Hopkins Bayview Hospital Baltimore, MD.

Born March 26, 1920 in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late William N. Steward Sr. and Elsie C. Moreland.

Mary Ann retired from the Kinney Shoe Factory in Romney, WV.

Preceded in death by her husband Samuel H. Nelson; one daughter Ethel M. Timbrook; one sister Betty Maphis; six brothers Floyd, William Jr. Howard, Harry, John and Charlie Steward.

Surviving is two sons Richard E. Steward and Charles “Bud” Steward both of Springfield; one sister Cora Wendell of Fort Ashby, WV nine grandchildren, ten greatgrandchildren and three great-greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday March 30, 2008 at the MckEE Funeral Home Chapel in Romney at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Danny Dennison officiating.  Interment will be at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery Points, WV.  Family will receive friends on Saturday from 3-5 &7-9 at the funeral home.
