David Burl Saville

David Burl Saville, 83, of Alexandria, VA, formerly of Hampshire County, WV passed away Monday February 18, 2008 at the Skyline Terrace Nursing Home in Woodstock, VA.

Born on May 27, 1924 in Kirby, WV, he was the son of the late Lula Daugherty and H. Orland Saville.

Mr. Saville was a restaurant caterer.  He served in WW II in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by one son: David B. Saville, Jr. of Alexandria, VA; one daughter: Doris M. Thomas of Lorton, VA. One brother: George W. Saville of Romney, WV.  Four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by a  son, Danny Saville, and two sisters: Dora Belle Riggleman and Lee Queen Saville.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 21, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the McKee Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta, WV with Rev. William Fout officiating.  Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Augusta. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
