Vivian Elaine Noel

Vivian Elaine Noel 77 of Augusta, WV passed away on Thursday February 14, 2008 at her home.

Born on August 30, 1930 in Maple Shade, N.J. she was the daughter of the late Clarence Irvin and Lillian E. (Walters) Woodward.

Vivian drove a school bus in Baltimore Co. MD and retired as a bus driver in Hampshire County where she drove for both county schools and the WV Deaf & Blind School for a total of 29 years. She was a member of the Augusta United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert B. Corbin, her second husband Harry F. Noel in 1978, also preceded by a brother, Clarence I. Woodward and a grandson, Michael W. Corbin.

Vivian is survived by 8 sons, Robert Corbin of Lineboro, Md, Bruce Corbin of Glen Rock, PA, Michael Corbin of Gladstone, VA, Thomas Corbin of Manchester, Md, Steven Noel of Cardiff, Md, Scott Noel of Spring Grove, PA, Jeff Noel of Fulton, TX, Paul Noel of Jacksonville, FL, 3 daughters, Elaine Forbes of Glen Rock, PA, Kimberly Oates and Cathy Corbin both of Augusta, WV, 43 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday February 17, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the Augusta United Methodist Church with Rev. Charlotte Wood officiating.

Interment will follow in the Green Lane Cemetery, Delray, WV.

The family will receive friends on Saturday 2-4 &7-9 at the McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.

Memorials may be made to the Augusta United Methodist Church or the Capon Bridge Senior Center.
