Howard Stanley DeJongh

Howard Stanley DeJongh 85 of Levels, WV passed away on Wednesday February 13, 2008 in Winchester Medical Center.

Born on September 14, 1922 in Baltimore, MD, he is the son of the late Peter Earl and Georgie (Jones) DeJongh.

He was a retired Chief Gunners Mate in the U.S. Navy, a member of the U.S. Navy Reserve Association, Levels Fire Dept. and the Level United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Hazel V. (Campbell) DeJongh, 2 sons Howard Lee DeJongh of Levels, WV, Edward E. DeJongh of Springfield, Mass, a sister, Sylvia Casey of East New Market, MD, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Mr. DeJongh was preceded in death by a son, Charles R. DeJongh, 2 sisters and a brother.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
