Willard Alston Landis 76 of Augusta, WV passed away on Saturday January 26, 2008 in Winchester Medical Center.

Born on July 16, 1931 in Romney, WV, he was the son of the late Vincent Alston and Elizabeth May (Mayhew) Landis.

He worked in maintenance for the WV Deaf & Blind School, Romney, WV. He was a member of the Tearcoat Church of the Brethren.

Willard is survived by his wife Elma Viola (Smith) Landis, also a daughter, Lois Davis of Manassas, VA, 3 brothers, Richard Landis, Charles Landis both of Augusta, Ralph Landis of Delray, 2 sisters, Betty Landis Delphia Catlett both of Augusta, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A brother, Elmer Landis preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held on Monday January 28, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in the McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta with Pastor Tom Rowan officiating.

Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, WV.

The family will receive friends on Sunday 2-4 &7-9 at the funeral home.
