Eva F. Shingleton Saville

Eva F. Shingleton Saville 97 of Baker, WV formerly of Kirby, WV passed away on Monday January 14, 2008 in E.A. Hawse Nursing and Rehab Center, Baker, WV.

Born on June 16, 1910 in Kirby, WV, she was the daughter of the late Varner and Nettie & (Shanholtz) Hott.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Hott’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Kirby, WV.

Eva was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Owen Shingleton, her 2nd husband, Hoyt Saville in 1999, a son Garland Shingleton in 1993, 2 sisters and a brother.

She is survived by a daughter, Florence J. Combs of Mathias, WV, 2 sisters, Godetta Poland of Romney, WV, Leona Cain of Petersburg, WV 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 17, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. in the McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, WV with Pastor Nick Yurkoba officiating.

 Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Baker, WV.

 The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening 6-8 at the funeral home.
