Marie E. Martin

Marie E. Martin 94, of Winchester, Va formerly of Greenspring, WV passed away in Winchester on September 6, 2007.

Born on October 10, 1912 in Higginsville, WV she was the daughter of the late Charles Cross and Carrie Mevella (Watson) Cross.

Marie was a Rural Mail Carrier from Greenspring to Springfield and a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Stewart and second husband Sam Martin.

Surviving is one daughter Deloris Emmart of Winchester; one sister Isabelle Sirbaugh of Capon Bridge, WV; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Sunday September 9, 2007 at the McKEE Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Jeff Barbour officiating.  Interment will follow at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery Points, WV.  The family will receive friends one hour prior before the service.

All arrangements are under the direction of the McKEE Funeral Home of Augusta, WV.
