Leonard Douglas Bourne

Marjorie Steward Landis 83 of Romney formerly of Shanks passed away on Monday September 3, 2007 in Hampshire Long Term Care, Romney, WV.

Born on November 10, 1924 in Augusta, she was the daughter of the late Bursie and Ella Margaret (Arnold) Shanholtz.

She as a homemaker, a member of the Little Capon Baptist Church, a life member of the American Legion Auxillary , a life member of the V.F.W. Auxillary and a Gold Star Mother.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Howard R. “Dink” Steward, also by her 2nd husband Emmett S. Landis, a son, Floyd L. “Bub” Steward in 1969, a sister and 2 brothers.

Marjorie is survived by 2 daughters, Arbutus Largent of Romney and Zanna Duling of Romney, 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday September 6, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta with Pastor Danny Dennison officiating.

Interment will be in Wesley Chapel, Three Churches, WV.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening 7-9 at the funeral home.
