Stern L. McDonald

Stern L. McDonald 94 of Levels, WV went to be with his heavenly father on Tuesday September 18, 2007 in Sacred Heart Hospital Cumberland, Md.

Born on May 10, 1913 in Riverton, WV, he was the son of the lat Job E. and Amanda (Rexroad) McDonald.

He was retired from the WV Dept. of Highways and a farmer. He was a member of the Oak Grove Church of the Brethren, previous member of the Springfield Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his wife Jacquelin (Harper) McDonald, a son, Dewey R. McDonald and wife Lena of Keyser, WV, a daughter, Dotsie N. Beckman and husband Roger of Levels, WV, 9 grandchildren , 10 great-grandchildren, 1 step-great-grandchild, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Teddy Lincoln McDonald, Peter Paul McDonald, 2 sisters and 6 brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 20, 2007 at 2:00 P.m. in the Oak Grove Church of the Brethren, Levels, WV with Pastor Robert Combs and Pastor John Thomas officiating.

Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Levels.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday 2-4 &7-9 at the McKee Funeral Home 115 E. Birch Lane, Romney, WV.
