Allen L. “Al” Smith

Allen L. “Al” Smith 66 of Shanks, WV passed away on Saturday August 25, 2007 at his summer home in Wappacoma Campgrounds, Romney, WV.

Born on October 25, 1940 in Morgantown, WV, he was the son of the late Allen Dale and Anna (Ayersman) Smith.

He was a carpenter and a member of the Romney Christian Church.

Al is survived by his wife Shirley M. (Evans) Smith, a son Christopher Smith of Keyser, WV a daughter, Stephanie Cox of Barton, MD, a step-daughter, Angela Lang of Romney, 4 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 28, 2007 at 11:00 A.M.in the Romney Christian Church, with Rich Rose, minister officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney.

The family will receive friends on Monday 2-4 &7-9 at the McKee Funeral Home, 115 E. Birch Lane Romney, WV.
