William Earl Laster

William Earl Laster 82 of Gettysburg, PA formerly of Slanesville, WV passed away on Thursday August 23, 2007 in Gettysburg, PA.

Born on June 21, 1925 in Rogersville, TN, he was the son of the late John Earl and Marie Jane (Richards) Laster.

He was a truck driver.

William was preceded in death by his wife Willie Lois (Davis) Laster.

He is survived by a daughter, Brenda Alice Forrest of Gettysburg, PA, a brother, Gyles “G.B.” Laster of Moshiem, TN, 9  grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 28, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Brooms Funeral Home in Rogersville, TN. Interment will be in Harrison Cemetery, Rogersville.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening 5-7 at the funeral home.

The arrangements are under the direction of McKee Funeral Home, Augusta.
