Mildred Emma Miller 91 of Baker, WV passed away on Wednesday August 1, 2007 in the Winchester Medical Center.

Born on July 28, 1916 in Needmore, WV, she was the daughter of the late Phineas and Mary Jane (Bott) Funkhouser.

Mildred was a homemaker. A member of the Baker United Methodist Church, United  Methodist Women’s Club, Hardy County Homemakers, and was  Belle  of Hardy County in 1987.

She is survived by her two daughters Janet N. Hughes,  Patricia M. Bowers both of Winchester, Va., and two sons James “Joe” E. Miller and Ronnie A. Miller of Baker, WV; Nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and Fourteen step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Claude and Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 4, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Baker United Methodist Church, Baker, WV with Pastor Loretta Brinker officiating.

Interment will be in the Baker Run Cemetery, Baker, WV.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8 at the McKee Funeral Home, Baker, WV.
