Roland “Ray” Timbrook

Roland “Ray” Timbrook 71, of Augusta, WV passed away on August 17, 2007 at Winchester  Medical Center.

Born April 25, 1936 in Shanks, WV he was the son of the late Ruben S. and Grace L. (Haines) Timbrook  of Shanks, WV.

He was  a farmer and former owner of Rose Hill Farms and Trucking.

Surviving are his wife Melica Marie (Marlow); three sons Allan R. Timbrook  and wife Debra, Bradley C. Timbrook and wife Dawn all of Shanks, WV and Timothy L. Timbrook and wife Sherry of Brick, NJ ; two daughters, Sandy J. Bohrer and husband Jeff of Shanks, WV and Melica Sue Timbrook  and fiancée Johnny Buckbee of Augusta, WV. One brother Irvin S. Timbrook of Shanks, WV ; three sisters, Erma Russell of Boyce, VA, Josephine O’Leary of Gore, Va, and Arlene Watson of Winchester, Va. Eighteen grandchildren and  two great-grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by one son Curtis L. Timbrook, also a sister Folda Allene Timbrook.

Funeral services will be Tuesday August 21, 2007 at the Augusta Church of Christ at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor James Ward officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Dale Cemetery, Shanks, WV. Family will receive friends on Monday August 21, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
