Geraldine Shoemaker Earley

Geraldine Shoemaker Earley 77 of Shanks, WV passed away on Saturday December 8, 2007 in Hampshire Memorial Long Term Care Center, Romney, WV.

Born on March 24, 1930 in Niles, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret ( Burns) Evans.

She was a homemaker.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Albert R. Shoemaker in 1979, and a son Leo Shoemaker.

She is survived by 2 sons, Gary Shoemaker, of Augusta, Randy Shoemaker and wife Karen of Keyser, WV, 2 daughters, Ann Davy of Westernport, MD, Bonnie Haines and husband Wally of Shanks, WV, 4 sisters, Mary Zackeroff of Courtland, Ohio, Delores Graham of Frostburg, MD, Bertha Miller of Warren, Ohio, Patty Houdershalt of Keyser, WV, 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday December 10, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. in the McKee Funeral Home Chapel Augusta, WV with Rev. Norman Landis officiating.

 Interment will be in Old Pine Cemetery, Purgittsville, WV.

The family will receive friends on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 at the funeral home.
