Hester Laken Pauley

Hester Laken Pauley 93 of Augusta, WV passed away on Monday November 5, 2007 at her home.

Born on October 14, 1914 in Naoma, WV, she was the daughter of the late Hillie and Maggie (Pettery) Jarrell.

Mrs. Pauley retired from working in a Baltimore Library. She was a member of the Zoar Baptist Church, Augusta, WV.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard E. Pauley on November 11, 1987, also preceded by a son, a sister and 4 brothers.

Hester is survived by a son Edgar Pauley of Augusta, three sisters, Charlottle Burns of Milton, DE., Eileen Vogler of Baltimore, MD, Wavie Green

 of Fayetteville, TN, three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 8, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, WV.

Interment will be in the Tearcoat Cemetery Augusta, WV.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 at the funeral home.
