Donald E. Wilson

Donald E. Wilson 76, of Winchester, VA formerly of Rio, WV passed away on Nov. 15, 2007 at the Winchester Medical Center.

Born June 15, 1931 in Rio, WV he was the son of the late Harley E. Wilson and Rosella F. Slater Wilson.

Donald was a member of the First Christian Church of Amherst St.,  Winchester and Retired from the U.S. Navy.

Surviving is his wife Judith A. Wilson; one daughter Deborah Jean DeManche of Virginia Beach, VA; one grandson Alex DeManche of Virginia Beach; two step-daughters Penny R. Baker and Kathy Shiflett both of Winchester; two step-sons Rick and Randy Baker both of Winchester; one sister Eileen Poland of Rio; one brother Roger Wilson of Rio; twelve step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Monday, November 19, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the McKEE Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta with Pastor James Tyree officiating.  Interment will follow at the Rio Cemetery, Rio, WV.   Military graveside rites will be accorded by Hampshire County Veterans Organization.  Family will receive friends on Sunday from 7-9 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Randy Wilson, Frank Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Rick Baker III, Fred Shiflett and Fred Shiflett II.
